Vehicle Compatibility

Suitable for Ford Everest and Ranger from July 2022 onward (Commonly known as “Next-Gen Ranger” and “Next-Gen Everest).

Suits all engine variants except Ranger Raptor.

Cannot be fitted with an under-bonnet dual battery system as they occupy the same space.

Designed to suit the ARB twin compressor.

An Engineered Solution, not the cheapest solution.

The AusMotion under-bonnet compressor mounting solution is not the cheapest available and you will find some cheaper elsewhere. However, our product is the only one that has been engineered to provide adequate support for the heavy ARB compressor on tough Australian tracks.

Unlike other brands, the AusMotion compressor bracket is supplied with a long support arm which, transfers the weight of the compressor forward onto the structural part of the vehicle frame, in front of the road wheel. This is critical as there is nothing else suitable in that area of the vehicle strong enough to carry that weight, without compromising the structural integrity of the car – The structural member used to locate our support arm is the same used by ARB for their under-bonnet battery tray which was developed in conjunction with Ford’s Australian engineering team.

With the lower end of the compressor plate supported by the arm, the upper end is bolted to the top face of the structural beam in the vehicle. This is a much stronger method than some other brands which hang the compressor in a cantilever design from the side of the structural member.

We’ve worked hard to product a design that we know will last and will not damage the vehicle, even when driven on tough Australian tracks. Our ARB compressor bracket is fully engineered, including FEA analysis of the supporting vehicle structure.

Whilst we may not have the cheapest solution, we’re confident that we have the best solution.

Air Hose Connection

We recommend installing the air quick-connector on an Ausmotion accessory panel in the rear of the vehicle, providing easy access to the air outlet without opening the bonnet.
