Lockable jerry can holder for Ranger (RA Series) “Next-Gen Ranger and 2022+ Amarok

Design Features
Perfectly sized to hold a standard 20 litre plastic jerry can (not compatible with steel jerry cans).
Lockable latches keep the hinged cover tight against the jerry can. On vehicles without a plastic tub liner, and those fitted with a roller shutter, this prevents it from being lifted out of the vehicle.
Retention of the jerry can relies on the vehicle bodywork and/or roller shutter track obstructing the jerry can when lifted upward from the jerry can holder. This means that in vehicles with the combination of plastic tub liner without a roller shutter the locking function will not stop the jerry can being removed from the vehicle. This is a rare combination found mostly in early model Ranger (2022 to 2024) before roller shutters became common factory fitted accessories.
In vehicles without a plastic tub liner, the jerry can sits against the metal bodywork and will always be prevent from being lifted out of the holder when locked, even if the vehicle doesn’t have a roller shutter.
Cutout provided to allow a tap to be fitted to a water jerry before placing it into the vehicle.
Vehicle Compatibility
Suitable for installation in the following vehicles:
- Ford Ranger RA Series (commonly known as Next-Gen Ranger) – July 2022 onward.
- Ford Ranger RA Series Raptor – July 2022 onward.
- Volkswagen Amarok 2023 – January 2023 onward.
Will not fit if the vehicle has the following options:
- Long aluminum load management bars (Common on Ranger Wildtrak and Platinum).
Installation Notes
Currently available only for the right side of vehicle.
No-drill installation, using original tie-down point bolt-in locations.
Compatibility with ARB or AusMotion Compressor Mount
If your vehicle has an ARB or AusMotion bracket securing the compressor between the inner and outer skin of the tub, you can fit the jerry can holder over the top of the compressor bracket.
Compatibility With Other 4WD Accessories
Not suitable for vehicles fitted with:
- RSi Smart Canopy.
- Canopies with large or bulky “legs” that sit in the corner of the tub.
- Some tub racks, hard lids or other equipment that attaches to the side wall of the tub.
- Bed Rug type carpet liners which have not been fitted tightly in the rear corners – If the carpet is fitted tightly, the molle panels can be installed.
- Swing cases.
- Dual battery system products that are already installed in the same part of the tub such as wheel arch battery trays.
Installation can be achieved on vehicles fitted with:
- Spray-on surface treatments (Ford/VW factory spray-in liner, Raptor Line, Line-X).
- ARB compressor installed in the default ARB location between the skins of the tub.
- UteMaster load lid – Including version with middle support leg.
- Full-length or half length sports bar.
- Maxliner Canopies
- ARB Canopies.
- Aeroklas Canopies.
- Flexiglass Canopies.
- Other canopies that are clamped to the top lip of the tub only.
- Tonneau covers.
