The AusMotion Next-Gen Ranger Behind-Seat Battery Mount is a precision-engineered mounting bracket designed to install an iTechworld iTECH100SS 100Ah slimline lithium battery behind the rear seats of 2022+ Next-Gen Ford Ranger, Wildtrak, and Ranger Raptor dual-cab utes. It is a 100% bolt-in bracket utilizing factory body points, requiring zero sheet-metal drilling or carpet cutting.

This mounting system suits dual-cab Next-Gen Ford Ranger (RA Series, July 2022+ to Present), including:
- Ford Ranger Raptor (with standard or non-ported B&O behind-seat subwoofer)
- Ford Ranger Wildtrak / Platinum / Sport (with standard audio or non-ported premium audio)
- Ford Ranger XL, XLS, XLT dual cab
- Ford Ranger Super Duty dual cab
Fits with rear seat in-place or with rear seat removed.

Subwoofer Verification
Designed to fit the 2022+ Next Gen Ranger (current Australian/New Zealand/Asia model), including Wildtrak, Platinum and Raptor models with the B&O audio system behind-seat speaker shown below.
USA Model Ranger Raptor
If your vehicle has a large plastic moulding for the “ported” sub woofer, including Ranger Raptor built and sold in the USA, there is no way to install a dual battery system behind the seat and this product will not fit.

Upon removal of the battery and mount, the vehicle will look the same as it was the day it rolled off the production line.
In vehicles without the behind-seat speaker, one hole in the floor bracket where the speaker foot would be mounted needs to have an M6 thread tapped prior to installation. This can be done easily using an M6 thread tap from a hardware store.
The vehicle jack will need to be relocated elsewhere in the vehicle – We can supply a jack relocation bracket to move it into the rear corner of the tub (see below).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do I need to drill any holes or cut the cab carpet?
No. The bracket uses existing factory threaded points and body holes. The rear cab carpet does not need to be cut or altered. For non-speaker models, one existing hole in the floor bracket is simply tapped with an M6 thread tap.
Which way around is the battery installed?
Where a behind seat speaker is fitted, the battery will need to be installed with the Anderson plugs facing toward the outside of the car. In this position the battery is “upside down” but the position has been confirmed as acceptable by iTechWorld.
Will my rear seat backrest still click shut properly?
Yes. The bracket and iTech 100SS battery profile are engineered within the factory rear seat cavity depth, allowing the seat to latch shut in its standard position without putting pressure on the seat back.
Where should I mount my DCDC charger?
We recommend mounting your DCDC charger on the passenger side of the cab back wall using our matching Next-Gen Ranger Behind-Seat Charger Bracket, which is pre-drilled to suit Redarc BCDC, Redarc Core, and Victron Orion chargers.
Does this bracket fit other slimline batteries?
This specific model is tailored exclusively to the threaded mounting pattern of the iTechworld 100SS. If you are running an Amptron, Custom Lithium, DCS, Baintech or other slimline unit, select our Universal Ranger RA Behind-Seat Mount.

The battery mount includes pre-cut holes for a Victron or iTech Shunt to be installed directly above the battery. By using the optional battery monitor display bracket, you can fit the iTech or Renogy battery monitor display above the battery too.
